Ez a projekt az Európai Bizottság és az Indire Olasz Nemzeti Ügynökség támogatásában, az Erasmus+ programjának az Együttműködések: innováció és jó gyakorlatok cseréje, felnőttoktatási stratégiai partnerség alprogramjának keretében valósul meg.

This project idea evolved from the needs analysis of a Eu population ever evolving under the contribution from new populations, arriving or in transit, & for the large diffusion of digital media.

We developed a project that unities the new digital educational tools with the amusement for the discover of the emotional & creative groups dynamics, which allow the participants to emerge from their condition of social invisibility.

We are in fact truly convinced that giving back dignity to individuals is a basic & substancial step to build up any possible pathway to inclusion.

Subsequently, we decided that Digital StoryTelling (DST) was the tool to cover these needs & succeed our aims. DST refers to a short form of digital film-making that allows everyday people to share aspects of their life story. DST is a relatively new term which describes the new practice of ordinary people who use digital tools to tell their personal ‘story’, presented in compelling and emotionally engaging formats.

One can define digital storytelling as the process by which diverse people share their life story & creative imaginings with others, over the web & other electronic distribution systems. In DST participants take an active role in learning, rather than passively receiving information; they become knowledge creators, producers, editors, evaluators & knowledge inter-actors.

I dig stories – Stories Educational Learning Facilities” will:

  • Create & disseminate a methodology guide for the Digital story Telling (DST) methodology
  • Train the consortium’s educational organisations on DST
  • Implement the DST in the educational procedures of the partners, in order to meet their needs during dedicated workshops targeted to meet the intergenerational & intercultural target
  • Develop a toolkit following the feed-back arising from the implementation itself
  • Create a learning e-platform, that will offer the e-public space for the creation of the educational community & the exchange of the educational materials
  • Promote the e-platform and the Digital storytelling as new tools, by the dissemination of the tool-kit and the realization of a multiplier event addressed to education facilitators both at national & Eu level

All project intellectual outputs and all tangible deliverables will be available in free download under the Creative Commons “Attribution – Non Commercial – Share Alike 4.0 international” license.

This license allows everyone, just as all participants to workshops, all those attending the multiplier events and all the e-platform users to remix, tweak, and build upon all project materials non-commercially, as long as they credit the project authors and license their new creations under the identical terms.

Intellectual outputs:
IO1 - the project will produce three basic intellectual outputs:

the platform you are currently using, which allow users to publish the project digital stories on a central website together with descriptions and additional information. The platform offers:

– methodological guide to DST (see IO2 for details)
– the practical toolkit to prepare and manage your own workshop on DST (see IO3 for details)
– general information on digital storytelling
– additional material for educational and organisational purposes
– links and further literature
– best practice examples of existing projects
– news on the topic of digital storytelling
– downloadable models for digital storytelling trainers for the set up of workshops

IO2 - methodological guide to DST

The collegues from Athropolis, with the contribution of all project partners, will write a comprehensive Methodological Guide to the Digital Storytelling. The thematics in which the guide will be developed are:

– Digital Story Telling: an educational procedure meeting the needs and the creativity of the participants
-Education in 2.0 environment
-The educational e-platform
-Digital Story-telling Method and praxis

IO3 - practical toolkit

The Tool-kit will present the implementation of the Digital Story Telling in the project. The toolkit will be created by merging together the e-platform materials, the highlights from the methodological guide, the knowledge and skills gained by partners professional during the joint staff training in Budapest and the results of local workshop held in each single local partners by partners to disseminate the practice. The toolkit will be the result of these local workshops: each partner will collectall materials, video, narrative sets, feedback and comments developped during the workshop sessions.

With a final evaluation of 95/100, the project awarded one of the highest evaluation ever.

These are the steps so far:

  • The first transnational meeting took place in Genova (IT) on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October
  • All digital media are active: search the one you prefer and register to follow the project updates between: LinkedIn [7] – facebook [8] – google+ [9] – twitter
  • This platform (IO1) is ready and in use

We are currently working to:

  • prepare the LLTA 5-days training session in Budapest, scheduled between 4 and 8 of April
  • prepare the second transnational meeting that will take place in Budapest on the 9 and 10 of April
  • write and finalise the DST methodological guide
